Car Rental Information
The renter must be at least 20 years old and must present a valid Republic of China ID card and a personal driver’s licence at pick-up. The renter must hold a credit card (debit cards are not accepted).
- Taiwanese nationals: National ID, driver’s licence, credit card (debit cards excluded).
- Foreign nationals: Passport, valid international driving permit issued by a reciprocal country, original home-country licence, and credit card (valid for at least six months, debit cards excluded).
Eligibility & Required Documents
Weekdays are defined as Monday through Thursday.
Holidays are defined as Friday through Sunday, national holidays and the day immediately preceding each national holiday. Reservation prices apply only on weekdays; all rentals on holidays are charged at the original price.
Weekday / Holiday Definition
Cars
- Passenger insurance: Up to NT$3 million per person for driver and passenger injury or death (number of passengers limited to seating capacity shown on vehicle registration).
- Compulsory liability: Up to NT$2 million per person for third-party injury or death (including medical expenses).
- Third-party liability: NT$2 million per injured person, NT$4 million per accident, and NT$500,000 for property damage.
Note 1: If the vehicle is damaged but repairable during the rental period, the renter is responsible for a deductible of NT$30,000–90,000, business loss (capped at 20 days) and vehicle depreciation (20 % of repair cost). An official police report must be filed and obtained.
Motorcycles
- Compulsory liability: Covers bodily injury to passengers and affected third parties (NT$2 million for death/disability, NT$200,000 for medical expenses per person).
The above policies do not cover damage caused directly or indirectly by natural disasters (e.g., typhoons, earthquakes, floods) or loss/damage to interior equipment.
For vehicles equipped with audio, infotainment or on-board computers, compensation for theft will be based on the official quotation.

Insurance Coverage
Cars: Daily rate is based on a 24-hour period. Late returns exceeding 1 hour will incur NT$200 per hour; after 6 hours, an additional full-day charge applies.
Motorcycles:
- 100–125 cc: NT$50 per hour after the first hour; after 6 hours, an additional full-day charge applies.
- 150–200 cc: NT$100 per hour after the first hour; after 6 hours, an additional full-day charge applies.
Imported / Domestic Light Manual Bikes: NT$100 per hour after the first hour; after 6 hours, an additional full-day charge applies.
Large-displacement Bikes (Manual & Scooter): NT$200 per hour after the first hour; after 6 hours, an additional full-day charge applies.

If the renter wishes to extend the rental, please notify the company before the agreed return time (the company reserves the right to approve or decline the extension).
Mileage: Follows each model’s kilometre limit; excess kilometres are charged at NT$10 per km.
Fuel: Same level of fuel at pickup and return.
E-tag: Toll charges incurred during the rental period will be calculated by Far Eastern Electronic Toll Collection Co. and billed at return.
Daily Rental, Mileage, Fuel & E-tag
All parking fees, traffic fines and any costs or losses arising from traffic violations during the rental period are borne by the renter.
The renter must use and maintain the vehicle with the care of a prudent manager. If any defect or malfunction is discovered, please notify the company immediately. After the vehicle has been driven more than 40 km or for more than 1 hour, the daily rental fee remains payable.
Renter’s Responsibilities & Obligations
※ Reservation prices apply only when full prepayment (bank transfer, credit card, Alipay, WeChat Pay) is completed at least 3 days before the scheduled pickup date (excluding the pickup day).
※ Cancellation fee schedule:
- If the renter fails to pick up the vehicle at the appointed time, the company will charge a business-loss fee according to the table below.
- Natural disasters (e.g., typhoons, earthquakes, floods) directly or indirectly affecting the rental may qualify for a full refund.
- Cancellation on the scheduled pickup day: deposit is non-refundable.
- Cancellation 1 day before pickup (excluding the pickup day): 50 % of the deposit is refunded.
- Cancellation 3 days or more before pickup (excluding the pickup day): 100 % of the deposit is refunded.
